Watering Ponds

Watering Ponds

Watering Ponds project is one of Unitel Group’s major social responsibility initiatives, aimed at supporting wildlife by improving access to water and enhancing natural habitats. - Initiated in 2021 - 71 water ponds established - Endangered species use the ponds as a water source The initiative began after our engineers observed water shortages affecting wildlife while installing network infrastructure in remote areas. The ponds are created using impermeable membrane technology that retains natural water and prevents seepage into the ground. In addition to supporting wildlife, the ponds help reduce desertification, improve soil conditions, and support vegetation growth.
